Humble Fierce Martial Arts

The Humble Fierce concept was inspired by modern martial arts and simple philosophy. At face value, the "fighting system" part of Humble Fierce is a composite - a form of Mixed Martial Arts. It is still in development, it is still being learned and tested. What it is at present and has evolved from includes influences from many martial systems including Korean martial arts, original Jeet Kune Do, concepts from sport MMA ( Boxing and Thai Boxing, Jiu Jitsu) and ideas from the broad range of arts known as Filipino Martial Arts or FMA. There's even more to it than that - but rather than getting bogged down with how much of this or that there is, may be it is better to state that right now Humble Fierce is a recipe that is still yet to be perfected.
The "Way" part of Humble Fierce is the more creative side of the coin. Here is where the simple suggestion to be "Humble" and "Fierce" is made. For now it is left up to the student to make more or less of this - it is open to some interpretation, however some thought will shed light towards the ideal of being humble in learning, in winning and losing, in the face of what is universally greater that oneself; and Fierce for battle, for competition, for overcoming adversity, for what is right - an attitude of changing anger, fear and other primal emotions into usable, formidable energy - intelligently.
